Hey Hey Hey!

Hello Tabulas! I'm totally back!

:D

I think I'll be able to post regularly now since I have my own... laptop! Yehey! At last... Hehe. My prayers were answered.

So how's everyone?

Well, a lot of things are happening to me right now...

Yesterday, I went to UP Diliman with my sister and papa. It was UPCAT and Mariah's gonna take it. :) Papa drove us to UP Diliman then he went home... I stayed at UPD to wait for Mariah to finish the exam.

It was really boring... very lonely there. Without having anything on my to-do-list, I walked around Sunken Garden for a while. Taking in the scenery... and the fresh air. I got hungry and bought Burger McDo plus Funchum at McDo stall. Damn, it was so expensive. There wasn't even any fries! Hmp... After that, I went for a stroll again then I went back to Palma Hall (where my sister was taking the exam) and sat on the stairs with some other people. I think they were parents... I opened my laptop and finished reading Shopaholic Takes Manhattan by Sophie Kinsella. After 30 minutes, I finished the book and then got really really bored watching people. I asked my friend Carlo (by SMS) for directions on how to go to Shopping Center. And I few minutes later, I found something to do. I went inside this dingy salon and got a pedicure. Oh twas fun watching people there try on clothes. Hehe. It was really funny and I couldn't make any loud remarks anyway... so it was quite frustrating at the same time. I couldn't talk loud about the clothes they were trying on. Those clothes don't fit them anyway. Hehe. I am so mean.

Anyway, I went outside after that and I bought this nilagang mais, which was really really sweet. Yummy! That's one of my comfort foods.

I went back to Palma Hall. But before that, I was in a jeepney and I thought I was really really lost already. It took a really long time to go back to Palma Hall so I thought I missed my stop. I was supposed to alight at the back of Palma Hall. But I don't even know what it looked like. So anyway, I'm just glad that the driver told me that it's my stop already. I was almost grabbing for my coin purse to pay for the 2nd trip! Think of that! :D

I was lucky to get my feet back to Palma Hall. I sat on the top flight of the stairs and beside me were two girls (trying hard to speak English with a British accent). They went on like that for an hour. Gosh. I thought I would die of epistaxis. Hehe. Just kidding! It was really funny hearing them speak... and I was trying hard not to laugh at them. :P

Things were a blur after that... I was too sleepy to take notice of things. :D

I'm just so glad to be back here in Tabulas. I miss blogging... so much!

xoxo,
Moe

I can't understand why classes today were suspended...

Posted at 12:36 PM in Daily Ramblings, School | 2 comment(s)

But I'm still thankful for this free day!

However, I don't really understand why classes were suspended when it's not even raining now in our area. Okay, so maybe there's a big storm in other parts of Luzon... But, I hate days with no classes! Yes, it's fun to bum around a bit and rest. But it's utterly going to be boring soon. *sigh*

Here are my reasons why I hate having no classes:

1. No allowance! (I'm trying to save money right now... So I can raise at least 10K before Christmas break. (I don't know how I'm gonna do this but God will help me.)

2. It will create a perfect time for me to clean up my mess at home. (We have a househelp but surely, we can't all let her clean our stuff. She would have no idea where to place all my stuff anyway.)

3. Lying around all day watching the TV is not my kind of activity.

4. Although, eating and eating is nice!

5. I would have no more excuse for not having done things. (Professors ALWAYS think that when classes are suspended, students already were able to do all their school work. But of course, I'd rather read e-books than write a report on say... a totally alien subject.)

6. And many more!

See? I have absolutely perfect reasons! In school, I'll get to say I'm busy... but in actuality, I may just be procastinating... or I'm telling the truth.

So now... I'm really busy. And that's the truth! I have to catch up with school work just in case there are classes tom.

I want to be cultured.

Posted at 08:32 PM in Daily Ramblings | any comment?

Not like bacteria.

Right now, I want to attend plays, musicals, ballet performances, concerts, exhibits every month!

I just got home from watching a ballet performance by Ballet Philippines at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Act 1 was "Rizal Revisited" which is a modern ballet... and Act 2 was "Double Takes" which is a neoclassic one. What is the difference? Modern does not require them to wear shoes. It's like freestyle in poetry. The neoclassic one is what we are most familiar with... tutus and metal toed ballet flats best describe this type. I love the second one best... I have a penchant for everything classic. :)

Anyway, why the desire? Well, I just realized that I'm missing a lot. And besides, school is not a very good reason to not attend shows, performances, exhibits that would heighten my culture (awareness). Aside from weekly shopping, which is a way for me to be cultured, I think that now is the best time to start attending culture shows. Right?! But the thing is... that would cost me a lot. Haha. But I'll just think that everything I spend for will be an investment. Who knows... someday, I might meet someone who loves Bach more than Beethoven. And I love Beethoven. And then we have to settle our differences... and compromise.

Okay, so I'm getting ahead of myself. My point is, I just really want to detoxify. And since I'm not fond of spas, that is a great way to do it. :)

Sunday is really a good day to have fun! :)

Happy. Happy. Happy.

Today, we attended the 9am mass at SM Sucat. Afterwards, we went shopping. :D That's my favorite hobby.... :P

We bought new set of clothes for Trisha... then, we bought a lot of accessories! (I just love accessories...)

Then, we had lunch at Rai-Rai Ken. The food was really really good. The servings are small but they're really heavy on the stomach! I love their sashimi... it is just sooo good! Yummy... then, we bought some chocolates. I got my SM Advantage Card afterwards... I don't know if ever I'm gonna use it. Hopefully, I'll be able to use it later.

Then, we bought a new cabinet! It's a really small one with 5 drawers. Really enough for us kids. That's where we placed all our undergarments. :) It's so cute... it came with an accessories holder as well!

So, when we arrived home, I immediately opened the wardrobe and other boxes and I (with the help of Ate Belen and my siblings) went on to arrange our mess. Haha! It was quite fun!

Then Mikey steamed some siopao for us... I don't like the taste but I finished it anyway. I don't like wasting food! That siopao really tasted bad. It's from SM Hypermarket... one of those frozen stuff. Ugh... it's just gross.

I'm looking forward to the next day... School again. :D

Blackle

Posted at 04:06 PM in Web Finds | any comment?

"If Google had a black screen, taking in account the huge number of page views, according to calculations, 750 megawatts per hour per year would be saved."

In response, Google created a black version of its search engine, called Blackle, with the exact same functions as the white version, but obviously with lower energy consumption.

 Use Blackle.

Online Window Shopping

Posted at 05:36 PM in Daily Ramblings, Fashion | 3 comment(s)

This has got to be the most fulfilling pastime activity. I'm now going through shops such as Versace, Vera Wang, YvesSaintLaurent, Chanel, Dior, etc. I can't believe Versace still hasn't any boutique here! Argh... I love their simple style!

I'm now gazing at TechnoMarine watches... and Topshop clothes. I've been buying from Topshop lately. And I've realized that they're actually cheaper... well, than most of the stuff I've been buying before. Besides, I love playing mix&match using Photoshop, and well, a bit of creativity. :D

I have opened around 30 or more tabs... and I was nearly through browsing all the shops when Internet Explorer encountered a problem... and needed to close!!! It's like a mall closing down on you when you are still in the middle of choosing between 3 pairs of shoes! Darn darn darn. Anyway, I'll continue shopping next time. :)

So, from my shopping spree today, here's the list of the items I love:

Savvy huh? Comment on these before I buy them! :)
