Yesterday, I went to a party with Olay at Fiamma, Bel-Air, Makati with my friend Yen. She was an ambassador there... and ambassadors are allowed to bring one friend with them. :D I was sooo glad that she invited me. Hehe...

She was present at the launch of Olay White Radiance product line. And they were asked to test the product and blog about it... something like that. *wink* And then the next party was yesterday. :D

A hundred of the city’s up-and-coming style mavens re-discovered the secrets to achieving perfect-looking fairness in “Perfection by Olay White Radiance”, an exclusive skin care seminar held at Fiamma recently.

 The White Radiance Circle is an exclusive by-invitation group formed by Olay, who gathered young style mavens who are leaders and experts in their own circles to better understand the pulse of young adults today and help them reach their goal of perfection. 

 It began with a gift of perfection – new Olay White Radiance – and a dedicated website where these fashionistas got to blog and share their thoughts with women all over the city on fashion, career and their skin.

 “I used to have clear skin during the earlier years of high school. That’s why when the rashes started appearing on my face, I felt like a monster. Especially when I met friends that I hadn’t seen for quite some time, their reactions were mostly variations of: what happened to your face? Now my skin has started to clear out again but the incident left scars on me, both physically and emotionally,” blogged Arra, one of the mavens of Olay White Radiance. . “I try to hide the imperfections on my skin everyday through the use of cosmetics but I don’t want to be dependent on make-up forever,”

 The five stumbling blocks to getting perfect-looking skin - UV sun damage, dark spots, uneven skin tone, dull skin and acne scars – was the next topic on the list. Dr. Jade identified the different factors that cause these imperfections and how the mavens could avoid them on their path to perfection.

 And to help these fashionistas keep their edge in their style department, Dr. Jade ended the afternoon with some skin tips and tricks from the expert. She emphasized that there are three basic steps the mavens had to follow on their daily beauty regimen: cleanse – to remove dirt and impurities on the skin, moisturize – to hydrate the skin and keep it soft and smooth, and boost – to provide more intensified benefits for specific skin care needs.

 She also highlighted the importance of SPF protection, which helps prevent ultraviolet rays from damaging the skin, and also talked about the benefits of using intensive treatment masks and night creams. The intensive treatment offered by masks are perfect for that weekend gimik as it helps skin stay fairer for longer by giving intensified skin benefits in a shorter time period,  The White Radiance mask gives skin a big boost by providing the same amount of whitening ingredient in a whole bottle of whitening moisturizer but in just 15 minutes, Night creams are also important as they are designed to help repair and nourish skin at the time when skin renewal is at its most active.

 But for now, the afternoon ended with freewheeling skin talk with Dr. Jade and gifts from Olay White Radiance - the perfect way to end to an afternoon on perfection.
